This 7 Days Gorillas & Uganda Wildlife Safari : takes you to different parks where you will enjoy and experience different activities. Kibale Forest National Park is particularly rich in primates with 13 species recorded including the chimpanzee. Queen Elizabeth National Park is generally a home to various mammals like the tree climbing lions, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes etc. Besides, the park also holds different activities like bird watching, boat cruise as well as chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is also among the oldest forests and famous for gorilla trekking. The Park also offers some of the best montane-forest, bird watching in Africa. In fact, it has got an estimation of over 350 bird species, 14 not recorded anywhere else in Uganda.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at the Airport-Transfer to Hotel
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by one of our representatives. Later, transfer you to your booked accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park-Nature walk (optional)
After having your early morning breakfast, you will be picked by your driver. Later, start off your journey to Kibale National Park, enroute lunch in Fort portal. Upon arrival in the park, you will check in your lodge and freshen up. Depending on the time of arrival, you can opt to go for an evening nature walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary. While here, you will come across different primates and bird species. Afterwards, head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking-Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Have an early morning breakfast, drive to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about the chimpanzee trekking. Later, start your search for the chimpanzees within the park. However, this can take you half a day depending on the movements of these primates. Interestingly, they are located by simply listening to their hooting calls, and then head to the place from which they replied from. While here, you can observe them as they feed, play as well as socializing with each other. As a matter of fact, these primates are the closest relatives to the human being since they share 98% of their DNA. Afterwards, you will embark on your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park and checking in direct to your lodge.

Day 4: Morning game drive-Afternoon boat cruise
After an early morning breakfast, you will go for the morning game drive in the Kasenyi area also well known as the kob mating grounds. Therefore, this is a perfect place to spot a lot of kobs and other antelopes like the sitatungas. Other wildlife spotted include; lions, elephants, hyenas, among others. Later, you will go for launch cruise on the Kazinga channel famous for its highest population of hippopotamus. In addition, you will spot crocodiles, buffalos, elephants and other animals as they come down to drink and bathe. Afterwards, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
You will have your morning breakfast and later check out of the lodge. Drive through the Ishasha sector in the southern part of park where you might have a chance to spot the tree climbing lions. You will enroute for lunch and later proceed to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 6: Gorilla trekking -Batwa Cultural Experience
Enjoy an early morning breakfast and then drive to the park headquarters. Here, you will be briefed by the park rangers about the dos and don’ts while trekking in the park. Afterwards, start off your gorilla trekking guided by the park rangers. Actually, this is a memorable and an amazing experience watching the mountain gorillas feed and play. However, the time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Upon locating a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence as you take photographs and observe them. Later, return to the lodge for lunch and a power nap. In the evening, you will go for the Batwa cultural experience. In fact, this will expose you to their culture basing on how they live, dance, as well as listening to stories concerning their culture which will leave you amazed. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Travel back to the Airport
Have an early breakfast, check-out of the lodge and embark on your journey back to Entebbe. Lunch shall be in Mbarara town and afterwards proceed with your journey. Arrive late evening and be dropped at your hotel or at the Airport to catch up with your flight back home.
