This 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking Experience : will take you for Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Generally, Uganda protects an estimated number of over 400 mountain gorillas which is roughly half of the world’s population. These include several habituated gorilla groups that can be tracked in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. In addition, the biologically diverse region also provides shelter to over 120 mammals, including several primate species such as baboons and chimpanzees, as well as elephants and antelopes.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will be picked by one of our drivers after an early morning breakfast and later start your journey to Bwindi. Firstly, you will have a stopover at the Equator line since Uganda is one of the few countries crossed by this line. While here, you will have different Equator experiments, photography as well as refreshments. Thereafter, head to Mbarara town for lunch and later proceed to Bwindi and reaching late in the evening. Check in at the lodge, relax and dinner shall be served.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking -Batwa Cultural Experience
After your early morning breakfast, you will be driven to the park headquarters. Before setting off to the forest, you will be briefed by the park rangers. The brief is basically about the dos and don’ts while trekking in the forest. Later, hit the forest and start off the trekking guided by the rangers. Upon locating one of the gorilla families, you will spend 1 hour in their presence, taking photos, watching them feed etc. Afterwards, head back to the park headquarters where you will be awarded with a gorilla trekking certificate. In fact, this is a way of congratulating you from this wonderful experience. Later, return to the lodge for lunch and a power nap.
Later in the evening, you will go for the Batwa cultural experience. Here, you will get exposed to their culture & norms; dance, lifestyle, storytelling and more which is very amazing and unique. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Travel back to Kampala/Entebbe
Have an early breakfast, check-out of the lodge and embark on your journey back to Kampala. Note that; lunch shall be in Mbarara town. Later continue to Kampala/Entebbe reaching late evening and dropped at your residence/hotel.
